At 8.30, as dusk descends on the Festival site, join in or just enjoy watching the spectacle of the fire torch parade which starts the evening’s theatrical climax, a combination of fire sculptures, drama and explosive endings!
The Wye Valley River Festival Finale is held in beautiful riverside fields at Llandogo. We have a designated disabled parking area near the main entrance to the site which will be sign posted. It is situated on the right just before the main event entrance.
This site is also ‘cross country’ but we endeavour to make it as accessible as possible.
The site is all on mown grass with a slight slope in places. There is a hard standing path from the car park to the entrance of the site.
There is an established grass path onto the main site. All of the performance areas are within striking distance of this path and all of the event structures will be accessible.
If assistance is required at any point our stewards and staff will be happy to assist or advise.
If you wish to take part on the evening fire torch parade please speak to a member of staff and they will be able to advise you the best way to do this, as some stretches of the route will be challenging. We can advise a modified route for you depending on your access needs.
