As darkness falls, journey into the forest for the world premiere of ‘Tree and Wood’, exploring our relationship with trees and forests. Directed by Jony Easterby, known for his immersive sound and light works, Jony has teamed up with award-winning musician and composer Nathaniel Mann (of the Dead Rat Orchestra) to devise a brand new musical show. The sounds of nature, labour, industry and song will transport you into a dreamlike realm through a series of installations, animated mechanics, music and performance, bringing smell, touch and sounds to the forefront of our consciousness. Collaborating with a diverse range of multi-talented artists, ‘Tree and Wood’ is at the forefront of this form of art experience in outdoor settings. Please note ‘Tree & Wood’ involves walking through uneven woodland in the dark!
The site may be muddy and we suggest you bring boots and picnic blankets! Bring your own picnic or buy food from stalls on site.
